MARKETING INTERN FOR THE DUTCH MARKET BASED IN PARIS

TGV Europe is the European online portal run by the French railway company SNCF. With the fast growing internet site TGV-europe.com we are well positioned on the continental European market and prepared for the liberation of the European railway market in 2010. TGV Europe runs 8 web sites with 13 language versions.

We are looking for an intern to reinforce our marketing team for the Dutch market. The remunerated internship is based in Paris and available from end of July 2010.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work in all facets of online marketing including creating, launching, monitoring, and reviewing online campaigns.
• Develop and translate value added onsite content.
• Review and monitor all online marketing activities: promotional offers, ad network, SEM campaigns, email marketing to meet business objectives and goals.
• Identify online marketing best practices and techniques and recommend new programs and partners.
• Contribute to, write and design all kind of online campaigns, craft online marketing messages, produce action oriented copy, evaluate headlines and messages to drive conversion.
• Develop and maintain up to date market intelligence and competitor database for all market segments.
• Make recommendations for marketing and product development based on an in-depth understanding of both the current and emerging market needs.
• Projects will include daily interaction with the country manager Netherlands.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• High energy, self starter with a sense of humor
• Diligent work ethic and insatiable desire to learn
• A passion for travel and internet
• Bachelor's degree or progress toward a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field
• Online Marketing experience desired
• Effective collaborator and team player, with ability to operate independently and work in ambiguous situations
• Sharp analytical skills and ability to see the big picture as well as details
• Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and presentations
• Software proficiency: Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Skilled in online search
• Dutch as mother language, fluent in English. French is a plus.
