One or 2 rooms to rent near Paris (Ile de France)

Hi there,

We are a French-English couple who offer a bedroom or 2 bedrooms to rent in our home in Saulx-les-Chartreux (91160) for short stays/weekends.

AT THIS TIME OF YEAR WE'D ALSO ACCEPT A STUDENT WHO MIGHT BE STRUGGLING TO FIND A PLACE TO RENT IN PARIS.

Double bed, internet access, usage of washing machine included. Lifts to RER B train station (which goes directly into heart of Paris, takes 20 mins) possible & to shopping centres (5 mins) possible, or hire of our bicycles. We can provide meals for different types of budget (student/vegetarian/dégustation (food and wine tasting). We do have a modest, outdoor pool for the summer months.

Please note, we have 4 cats & no children. I am vegetarian but my husband loves his meat but we both love cooking. Suitable for couples coming to Paris for a weekend, for students who are in need of temporary accommodation, passing tourists...

We are located: 8 minutes drive from Palaiseau-Villebon RER B station; 20 mins from Paris by car (if traffic is fluid);  there is a bus which takes 15 minutes to get to Massy-Palaiseau RER B train station and from there it takes  35 mins to metro station Chatelet. Airports: 8km from Orly and 42km from CDG.

Saulx-les-Chartreux is a small, environmentally protected, agricultural town. The farmers work the fields (cabbages, corn, lettuce) and there are several riding schools and horse breeders in the area. For walks or sport, there is a lake, a forest and fields -you can even see the Eiffel tower across the fields! We are 4 minutes on foot from the small town centre where there are basic shops (boulangerie, boucher, pharmacies, grocery) and restaurants. We are 5 minutes by car from many other types of larger shops and supermarkets.
