Job Description: Coordinator, Sales - France & Benelux, Reports to Director of Corporate & Leisure Sales
Key Goals & Objectives
- Member hotel services coordination: to provide organizational support to our member hotels on the French and Benelux markets, according to LHW quality standards
- Assistance to the Sales Department: to provide administrative support to 2 sales managers by coordinating their initiatives and servicing our customer accounts
Responsibilities
- To act as an assistant to 2 sales managers :
- Prepare sales trips & sales calls
- Handle special booking requests from key accounts
- Provide information & advice to both customers and member hotels
- Handle e-mails in absence of Sales Managers
- Accompanied sales calls with Sales Manager, as applicable.
- Handle clearing space for customers
- Coordinate special projects / events as assigned
- Organize and coordinate familiarization trips according to Leading Hotels standards
- Back-up of the group department, in case of their absence
- Database update:
- Generate top customer account lists customized by segment and by market for hotelier use
- Regular clean-up of accounts & contacts in our sales database
- Update database following sales calls and events & log hotel activities in sales database (presentations, site inspections, fam trips, etc)
- Update & coordinate production of the Paris Sales Guide for membership portfolio
- To organize & coordinate sales initiatives such as “Leading By Invitation”, International trade fairs, roadshows, showcases and ad hoc projects as necessary
- Be the key contact and providing different services to hoteliers:
- Sales calls itineraries, either accompanied by LHW sales manager or not
- ad-hoc special events and promotions (lunch, dinner, cocktail, etc)
- Recruit, supervise & evaluate sales trainee
Requirements & Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management / Business School
- 2/3 years of hospitality-related experience
- Hospitality, travel, luxury, international experience preferred
- Fluency in French and English is required, Dutch is a major plus
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Email/Internet, Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent organization, problem solving and decision making skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize
- Flexibility and multifunctional
- Ability to negociate
- Ability to represent/demonstrate LHW core values
- Executive polish and presence
- Ability to influence and build trust
